Using Photo Placeholders

Photo Placeholders

FastPhotoReports includes a great feature called 'Photo Placeholders'.   A 'Photo Placeholder' is simply a container where you plan to insert a photo later.  This is very useful when you know specifically what photo you are expecting such as the report Cover Photo.  When creating report templates Photo Placeholders can save a lot of time because you simple insert the actual photos into the placeholders and you are done.

To insert a 'Photo Placeholder':

If on the Photo Viewer Tab:

1. Right Mouse click on the desired photo
2. Click Insert Before or After Selected Photo.

In both cases you will be prompted to enter a 'Hint' for the placeholder.  For example: "Report Cover Photo Here".  If you leave the prompt blank the hint will become 'Place Image Here'

Click OK and the Photo Placeholder will be added:

You can change the Hint Text at any time by selecting the Placeholder and clicking the option on the Placeholder dropdown menu.
