The main FastPhotoReport screen is comprised of 2 main tab panels in the top middle section of the screen and 6 popup tool panels around the edges of the main screen including 2 tool panel tabs on the left, 2 on the right right and 2 at the bottom. The 6 popup tool panels can be resized, 'pinned open' or hidden (the tab is reshown when mouse is over the tab). Some of the tab panels can be dragged off the edge and become a free floating panel (Enterprise feature only - part of the features for multiple monitors) Below is a very brief description of each. Each screen area will be covered in detailed in sections following.
Photo View Tab
The Photo View tab displays ALL photo content area photos in the entire report. Photos can be added, removed or dragged around to change order of photos. Several tool buttons available to work with photos on the photo view tab.
The Report View Tab displays a preview of the entire report or selected section. The preview is a WYSIWYG display (what you see is what you get). There a many tool buttons and right mouse click features available on the Report View tab. Printing and PDF creation are made from the Report View tab.
The Report Outline tab panel is on the left edge of the main screen. The Report Outline panel is where new sections and content areas are added to the report. The outline is used to populate the table of contents and printed titles on pages.
The Photo Work Bin is on the left edge of the main screen. The Photo Work bin is used to temporally place photos to be used later in the report. Photos can be inserted into the report from the bin one a time or several at a time.
The Photo Editor Tab panel is on the right edge of the main screen. The Photo Editor is used to add drawings and annotations to photos. Several drawing tools and photo editing feature are available.
The Text Editor tab panel is located on the right edge of the main screen. The Text Editor is used to add and modify photo comments and text paragraph content areas. Normal text formatting tool buttons are available.
The Content Area Options tab panel is at the bottom left of the main screen. This pop up tab contains various settings and options for the selected Content Area subsection.
