What Happened:

Our subscription services run on a Godaddy server which is maintained by them.    Either a change or update in their server system or perhaps a change caused by a windows update has caused an inability for FastPhotoReports to communicate with the subscription server for some of our users.   After exhausting our efforts on trying to work with server options and settings, we determined the best longterm approach was to build an update to the FastPhotoReports app that eliminates the issue and works with the new updated server environment.  A  FastPhotoReports update had been in the works for some time and was planned to be released early March 2025.  We are releasing it early to address this immediate need.  There will follow additional information concerning new features over the next few weeks.  Below are general instructions to install the update:

 

Close FastPhotoReports if open then

Download the update here:

You may have to choose ‘Download Anyway’ option if prompted.

You can always scan the update file after by right clicking on the downloaded  File and then click the ‘Scan with … ‘ option.

After you scan double click the file to install.

 

If you get the following ‘Already Installed’ error:

Go to the task bar and type in and go to ‘Add or Remove Programs’ settings

 

 

Search the installed Apps list (alphabetical) for A FastPhotoReports ???? Update (64bit) listing.  Click the … and then click the Uninstall option:

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT uninstall the main Fast Photo Reports entry just the update!

 

Run the downloaded update and follow prompts.

You should be good to go!
